TheWaal Bridgeis an arch bridgeover the Waalthat connects the centre of Nijmegenwith Lent. The bridge is part of the N325and the city route S100.
The total length of the Waal Bridge is 604 metres. The height, in the middle of the main arch, is approximately 60 metres above NAP. The arch spans a distance of 244.1 metres between the two pillars and was therefore the longest arch bridge in Europe when it was completed in 1936.
